Galapagos, Day 2

On Day 2 of our trip to the Galapagos, we took a bay tour around our island of Santa Cruz. First, we endured a treacherous hike over rediculously rocky terrain to get to a beautifal lagoon called Las Greitas:




Our tour guide for much of our Galapagos trip was named Franklin (pronounced "Frankleen"), whom we grew to love, despite his inability to adequately prepare us for the dangerousness and duration of our hikes. Next, we went to a beach where we saw marine iguanas:



We also saw sharks and sea lions. Much of our day was spent on a double-decker yacht called "Mi Dome," which was wonderful until someone from the upper level threw up, and the vomit landed all over Vidhya, who was innocently sleeping on the lower level. Needless to say, for the remainder of our time in the Galapagos, we chose to sit on the upper level. Here is a picture of Deepa and Pooja on the yacht:
